The HCSA is the official student group for Honors College students. All Honors College students are automatically Senators. The HCSA offers the best opportunity to become involved with the Honors College, UWM, and the Milwaukee communities through organizational, volunteer, and social activities. The HCSA organizes events and programs such as the Honors College Fall Student Orientation, AIDS Walk of Wisconsin, social functions like pizza and sporting nights, and participates in the Center for Volunteerism and Student Leadership events like the leadership retreat and RAK-a-thon.
The Honors House features two Student Centers for study, conversation, HCSA meetings, and socializing: the Library (169) and the Solarium Room (105). Both rooms are open to all Honors students during regular classroom hours. The Honors House also features a large General Purpose room with an attached kitchen (196) that is used for larger social events such as "Pizza with the Profs," the Honors College film nights, and other activities.
Students in the Honors College have access to a library study room. Please contact the Honors College office (Honors House 154) for the lock combination.
