Lydia Equitz is an award-winning senior lecturer with a B.A. in English from Wellesley College (1981), graduate degrees in Education and English from Harvard University and UWM (1982, 1992) and additional graduate work in Modern Studies and Composition and Rhetoric at UWM (1992-1995). As the Honors College Writing Specialist, she offers one-on-one writing consulting to Honors students on their course papers and graduate school essays. Lydia also teaches popular courses on soldiers' writing about war, WWII from a German soldier's and a historian's perspective, post-Enlightenment intellectual challenges to religious belief, and the influence of Sigmund Freud on modern art and thought.
