Important Note: Guests of Kenilworth Guest Housing must meet one of the following requirements:

Relationship with a campus department or organization.
UWM graduate students or upper-class students over the age of 22.
Parents/family of UWM students.
UWM Alumni.

Location
Kenilworth is located in Milwaukee’s Eastside. It is only a few minutes walk from the lakefront, Brady Street, North Ave and is located on the 30 bus route, which travels directly to UWM’s campus.

Accommodations
Kenilworth is a newly renovated building which was originally built in 1914 as a model T factory. It contains a 2nd floor lounge with wireless internet access*, TV, workout facilities, laundry service and conference rooms. Guests staying at Kenilworth have full access to all of these facilities, though conference rooms may be booked during their stay. If you wish to reserve a conference room, include that in your reservation request.

* Wireless internet access is only available to UWM students via prowlnet.

Reservations & Payments
All Guest Housing reservations should be made through email, ldt@uwm.edu, or by calling 1-414-229-6588. To view room rates, click here. UWM departments can file a pre-authorization for charges for an entire academic year. Payment in person is made at the Kenilworth Service Desk 6am – Midnight 7 days a week; payments must be in cash, check or credit card (Visa or MasterCard).

Rooms
Kenilworth Guest Housing offers fully furnished 2 bedroom apartments. The rooms are furnished very similar to a hotel; each apartment has a shared kitchen with basic utensils, plates, glasses, coffee mugs, a full refrigerator, etc. The bathroom is shared between the two rooms and is stocked with towels, face cloths and other basic amenities. Each room has a full size bed with luxurious bedding, a television, dressers, a closet, hangers, lamps, alarm clock, iron and ironing board, couches and overstuffed chairs, instant internet access and the Ethernet cord, and more. Each suite has the option of being a private suite, meaning nobody will occupy the second room in the suite at no extra cost.

Check in time is 3:00 pm or later. Earlier check in needs to be prearranged with Guest Housing.

Check out time is 11:00 am of your last day. Later check out needs to be prearranged with Guest Housing prior to your last day or you will be charged for an additional night.

Parking
An enclosed lot is available under Kenilworth Square Apartments. Parking permits may be purchased by guests when checking in at the main desk, or by the department when making the reservation.

Rates
Each apartment contains two bedrooms with full sized beds, a shared kitchen, and a shared bath. The prices are per room, regardless if one or two persons stay in each room.

Daily Service is provided for stays of 6 nights or less and includes complete, daily cleaning of apartment and changing of towels.

Long Term Service for stays of 7 nights or longer includes cleaning and linen service each Friday during the stay.

The Office Suite is an apartment furnished with one room as a bedroom, the other as an office, complete with a desk and a seating area that allows the guest to entertain friends or hold a meeting. The office suite is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $80.00 per night regardless the length of stay. Cleaning will be done based on the length of stay as detailed above.

Penalities
Loss of keys will result in the following charges:

$50.00 for a Room Key
$10.00 for a Kitchen Cabinet Key
$10.00 for a Key Fob to enter the building
Exceptions to this policy are at the discretion of Guest Housing Staff.
