Kenilworth Move In Information

Students will be able to move into Kenilworth on Sunday, September 1st. Please follow these guidelines to make move-in as easy as possible.

Parking & Unloading

Parking will be available in the first and second level of the Kenilworth garage. Once you arrive, proceed to the Service Desk to receive your apartment keys, move in information, and parking pass. This information will only be given to residents, so please don’t have your friends or family members try to pick it up for you. After you receive your keys and check in, you can begin moving in. The desk is open 24 hours a day; however, we ask that you move in between 8 AM and 10 PM.

For move-in day ONLY, vehicles will be allowed to use the first floor and second floor parking structures for unloading only, which will be limited to one hour. After 10 PM on September 1, parking in the second floor is only available for permit-holders and vehicles parked on the first floor need to pay the posted meter fees. University Housing does not recommend using a trailer for move in as it will not be able to park in the garage area. Very limited parking is available for vehicles with trailers in the loading zones on Kenilworth place and Farewell Avenue.

Room Furnishings & Dimensions

All apartments include a full kitchen with some appliances, including a refrigerator, stove/oven, and a microwave. The kitchen also includes cupboard space for storage as well as a movable island counter with stools. All apartments have window blinds, a bed, a desk, a chair, and a 2-drawer pedestal file. We want you to make Kenilworth your home and decorate accordingly. However, please be cautious when planning how to hang your decorations. Please use only small thumb tacks or push pins, tape, poster putty, or any sticky adhesive.  Nails and screws are not allowed.
