Detailed documentation on using the UWM High Performance Computing (HPC) service is provided in the Avi Research Cluster User's Guide and the Peregrine Educational Cluster User's Guide. These guides provide a tutorial for individuals new to the cluster, as well as detailed reference material for topics specific to the UWM HPC Service.

Online Documentation

Running Jobs with Platform LSF is the comprehensive guide on using the LSF scheduler. Note that the LSF User's guide is proprietary documentation and is not redistributable. Access to this document is provided only from within the UWM campus.

The HPC Community website is a gathering place for individuals using LSF that offers articles, project information, documentation, software, forums, and more.

The TORQUE Administrator Guide includes a chapter detailing submitting and managing jobs with the TORQUE PBS scheduler.

The HPC Service support model provides one-on-one interpersonal assistance to meet the unique and complex needs of each researcher. If you have questions or require assistance using the cluster, e-mail cluster-support@uwm.edu. A facilitator will contact you to obtain additional information about your research computational needs.
