| The Historic Preservation Institute works with neighborhood to document, in a comprehensive way, existing physical conditions. Current land use is organized documented and combined with historic information to assist in creating land use policy and site development that is both logical for the growth and sensitive to past conditions. Issues like building volume, street wall, facade articulation, pedestrian and vehicular access, lighting, parking, signage, etc., are all important components in creating a strategy of expansion and development that is both an economical and logical guide for private and public landowners. | ||
