NEWS - UW System Digital ID Information

The UWM IAM Team is aware and has been communicating with staff in Madison regarding the UW System Digital ID certificate implementation. The Digital ID certificates are intended to be used for electronic document signing, email signing and email encryption. They may also be used in the future as a supplement to an ePantherID and password.

Currently, UW-Milwaukee is not issuing Digital ID certificates. Procedures, policies, and support issues are being discussed at this time. More information will be communicated as we develop the infrastructure necessary to support this initiative at UW-Milwaukee.
