How does an ePantherACCOUNT relate to a UWM email address

Applicants

Applicants do not have an active UWM-based email address until they become eligible to enroll.

Students

Students do have an active UWM based email address and are expected to monitor it for official communications from UWM. The email address will remain active as long as students remain actively enrolled. The email address will be inactivated and all email removed in accordance with Student Records Retention procedures. Students should plan accordingly so communications occurring after active enrollment has stopped is not linked to a UWM based email address.

Employees (Faculty and Staff)

Employees have an active UWM-based email address and are expected us it for conducting business while at UWM. The email address will remain active as long as the employee has an active appointment. The email address will be inactivated and all email removed when an employee leaves UWM. Employees should plan accordingly so communications occurring after active employment has stopped are not linked to a UWM-based email address.
