Welcome to online sign-up for service learning
The online sign-up process allows you to establish a service learning account, select your course, view community community partners offering placements for your course and then select your placement.
REMEMBER: You may only sign up for one service learning placement per course and it must be designated for the course in which you are enrolled. You may use your service learning account and the sign up process for more than one course, however. You may take a maximum of three service learning courses each semester.
Once you have received a confirmed placement, do not delay in
contacting the agency to arrange your hours. You may call
your agency. BE PERSISTENT! Don’t hesitate to follow up with additional calls if you haven’t heard from your agency contact.
Please expedite your sign-up by carefully reading and following all instructions!
Before you begin, make sure that you:
- Familiarize yourself with the community partners associated with
your course by using this website. Click on Service
learning
courses & placements.
- Have received permission from your instructor if you are arranging a placement that is not among those listed by the Institute for Service Learning on this website.
- Know your work/class schedule.
- If you have questions about any aspect of service learning, contact an isl staff member at the Institute for Service Learning.
