Classified Staff
Classified positions are those in the State of Wisconsin Civil Service and comprise all positions that are not designated as "unclassified." Classified positions include classified permanent, classified project, and limited term employees. More information on classified staff policies, benefits, and classifications is available from the Department of Human Resources. The Wisconsin Office of State Employee Relations (OSER) establishes many rules and policies applicable to classified staff.
