American Grotesque Opening
Revisit American mass media as seen through the prints of Eduardo Paolozzi; Scottish born sculptor, collage artist and printmaker. Explore the artist's ability to both dissect and celebrate the popular culture of mid-century America in this largely neglected series. A graduate student thesis exhibition curated by Sarah Doty, highlighting reoccurring themes in the artist oeuvre.

The exhibit will be on campus from March 12 through March 26, 2009, and features artwork from the UWM Art History Gallery.

On Thursday, March 12th, the public is invited to the opening reception. The event will start at 5:00pm in the Art History Gallery.
