Pathos and Persona in German Art

Opening Reception: Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 5-7 p.m.
Explore drawings, paintings and prints by German and Austrian artists of the early 20th century including Max Beckmann, Oskar Kokoschka, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, and many others. Curated by graduate student Nathan Gramse, this exhibition will include a critical examination of important social and psychological themes in expressionist portraiture.
