Welcome to the 2012 Biological Sciences Research Symposium
Every year at the Research Symposium, Graduate and Undergraduate Student Researchers at the UWM Department of Biological Sciences gather to present their recent work and achievements. Everybody with an interest in biology is invited to attend the symposium and learn what the young UWM scientists are doing.
The areas of research at the department are diverse and exciting, ranging between Cell and Molecular Biology, Ecology, Microbiology, Neuroscience, Physiology, and believe it or not, some of us are very good at math: Biomathematics. The presentations are given in one of two forms: short talks or posters. Below, you can find scheduling details as well as short abstracts about the symposium presentations.
Schedule:
The symposium will take place on Thursday, April 26, 2012, in the UWM Student Union Ballroom and the adjoining room 191.
