Undergraduate Research Opportunities
The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) pairs students with leading academic researchers. Building on a strong tradition of undergraduate research at UWM, OUR helps undergraduate students participate first-hand in the University's research mission.
How to Apply- Complete the online application.
- Once we receive your application, you will be called for an interview.
- Based on your interests, you will then interview with potential faculty mentors.
- Once you have found a good match for your interests, you will register for a 1-3 credit UROP Apprenticeship with the faculty member. Freshmen and sophomores will also register for a 1 credit UROP Seminar, a weekly meeting with the other students in the program
