Minor Area of Focus: Physical Chemistry
Cardinal Stritch University, 4, B.S.
Why I like Chemistry:
I like Chemistry because I feel like it answers so many questions I have. I also like that everything I learn about can be related back to the 'real' world and solve current problems or aid future generations to solve these problems.
Why I chose the Chemistry and Biochemistry Program at UW-Milwaukee:
I wanted to stay in Wisconsin and I liked the size of not only the campus, but also the research groups at UWM.
Favorite things to do in Milwaukee:
My favorite things to do in Milwaukee would be walking down by the lake and going to all the festivals during the summer.
For Chemical Education, my research goals would be to determine possible factors that may affect differential item functioning. For Analytical Chemistry, my research goals would be to build a database of complex organic compounds found in varnishes and to build an aging chamber to help simulate aging of varnishes.
