Why I like Chemistry:

Chemistry is very much a part of everyone’s life and I was very fascinated by synthesis from high school. The ability to understand molecules reacting together interested me from the start.

Why I chose the Chemistry and Biochemistry Program at UW-Milwaukee:

The institute is very welcoming and research friendly. The UROP really increased my interested in research as an undergraduate which propelled me to apply to the UWM.

Favorite things to do in Milwaukee:

Going to Brewers games, snowboarding, camping, basketball and flag football

Research Goals:

To discover new Bronsted acids and to developed new asymmetric reactions
