UWM Chemistry and Biochemistry Research Symposium
April 19-20, 2013
The UWM Chemistry and Biochemistry Research Symposium (CBRS) will be held on April 19th and 20th in the Chemistry and Biochemistry Building at UWM. CBRS was conceived to highlight the outstanding undergraduate and graduate student research taking place at UWM and beyond in southeastern Wisconsin, northern Illinois, and northern Indiana, and to open undergraduates to the possibility of pursuing an advanced degree in chemistry and biochemistry. In addition to the main poster sessions, the schedule will include research talks by Prof. Lovell E. Agwaramgbo and select UWM graduate students, panel discussions focusing on career development and the graduate school experience, and an outing to Miller Park to watch the Brewers take on the Chicago Cubs.
Poster Session and Awards
There will be three one-hour poster sessions. You will be asked to have your poster set up by 9:00 am on Saturday, April 20th. You will only have to present your poster in one of three poster sessions and will be scheduled to meet with a minimum of two judges during this time. There will be awards for the best undergraduate posters. Posters should be 44" wide x 36" high.
