Biographic Information:

I am a master’s student in interpersonal communication with an emphasis on close and intimate relationship communication. My current research focuses on communication that occurs within serious dating relationships and marriage, and the communication about those relationships to friends and family. I received my bachelor of science in Organizational Communication and Public Relations from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2005. While at La Crosse I conducted research that involved the effect of birth order on marital partner communication and the success of the relationship as a result. My current coursework is preparing me to teach all levels of courses related to interpersonal and family communication. Currently, I am a teaching assistant for Communication 103, Public Speaking.
