Midwest Mesoamericanist Meeting

Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Saturday, March 20, 2010

The 33rd Annual Midwest Mesoamericanist Meeting will be held at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Saturday, March 20, 2010. This informal conference will provide a forum for discussion of recent research in Mesoamerican archaeology, ethnohistory, art history, and related fields.

In addition to the conference on Saturday, there will be a behind-the-scenes tour of the Latin American archaeology collection at the Milwaukee Public Museum on Friday afternoon (March 19), a welcoming reception on Friday night, and a closing reception on the evening of the 20th, following the conference. Please see the schedule of events page for more information.

If you would like to give a presentation at the meeting, please email your name, affiliation, presentation title, and a brief (150-word or less) abstract to Jason Sherman by February 15. Each presentation will be 15 minutes long, with 5 additional minutes for discussion. Students in particular are encouraged to participate.
