Effective July 1, 2009, the Department of Linguistics at UWM has been re-instated as a separate department from the Department of Foreign Languages and Linguistics (FLL).
- The Department of Linguistics will be administering the Plan D Master's and Ph.D degrees, as well as the graduate and undergraduate TESOL Certificates, that have been housed in the past within the Department of English.
- We anticipate being able to accept new students into the degree and certificate programs for the academic year 2010-11.
- The web page for the Department of Linguistics is currently under development, and we expect that it will be accessible within the next few weeks.
