Do you like to go on epic road trips?
Do you like to collect and keep rocks and fossils?
Are you interested in what Earth was like before humans?

Then attend a Paleo Club meeting at UWM!

We're a group run by students, for students. It doesn't matter what major you are, all you need to join is an interest in fossils and paleontology. Our forte is collecting specimens directly from the field, and you get to keep just about everything you find!

Next Meeting:

Tuesday September 26th at 4:00 pm in Lapham Hall room 268

I hope you've all had good weekends! Paleo Club will meet as usual tomorrow, 4 PM in Lapham 268. I'll be giving a short presentation on field work I did last spring in the Late Paleozoic of Argentina, there will be some Paleo News, and if you have any more fossils to show, please bring them in! As for major trips, it's looking like the weekend of either October 20 or 27 will work best for us. If you could let me know if that does/doesn't work, that would be fantastic!

Tuesday September 4th

The main order of business will be fossil show-and-tell. If you have some specimens you'd like to identify or brag about, bring them in! Andrew Parisi will also relate his experiences on a dinosaur dig in Montana this summer.
