Tutoring Provided by Mathematical Sciences

The Mathematical Sciences Department offers free assistance on a walk-in basis with questions about Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus during the Fall and Spring semesters.

Location: Golda Meir Library, "East Wing" First Floor Area

  • Spring 2012 dates: 01/30/2012  to 05/14/2012
  • No tutoring is provided by the Math Department during
    • Summer term
    • Winter term
    • when classes are not in session (ie. Holidays and Spring Break)

Panther Access to Student Services

Panther Access to Student Services (PASS) provides supplemental academic services for many subject areas including math. The center is located in Bolton Hall Room 180, but also provides tutoring during the summer in Golda Meir Library, WB42.

 

Becoming a Math Tutor

Mathematical Science hires tutors for Fall and Spring semesters. Tutors must be undergraduates, have completed the Calculus series up to and including 234 with a B or better, have at least a 3.0 GPA and be able to work Monday through Friday 9:00am til 12:00pm.
