Stan Husi will be joining the department in the summer of 2012 as an Assistant Professor. He received his Ph.D. from Rice University. His areas of specialization are in Ethics, Social & Political Philosophy, Meta-Ethics & Practical Reasons.
Joshua Spencer has joined the department in January 2012 as an Assistant Professor. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester. His areas of specialization are in Metaphysics and Philosophy of Language.
Stephen Leeds has been appointed Distinguished Professor.
Andrea Westlund and Edward Hinchman have each been promoted to Associate Professor.
Michael Liston has been appointed Associate Dean of Humanities in the Graduate School.
Margaret Atherton is currently Vice President of the American Philosophical Association, Central Division.
