Facilities

The Psychology Department has the following facilities to support its academic, research and community missions.

Psychology Clinic

The UWM Psychology Clinic has two functions. It was developed to serve as a training facility for graduate students, and also functions as a research clinic.

Electronics Shop

The Psychology Electronics Shop is staffed by a full-time Electronics Technician and includes separate electronics and woodworking areas.

Research Laboratories

The faculty in psychology recognize that a major component of their work is scholarly research. The department provides laboratory resources to facilitate faculty and student research.

Teaching Laboratories

The department places special emphasis on the use of research to answer questions in psychology, applied as well as basic. The laboratory program is taught in well-equipped teaching laboratories with much of the work employing computer control of experiments.
