My research is focused in the history of Philology as an academic discipline. A history which helps us to reflect on certain literary categories that "a nativitate" have been halted in our process of literary works and texts codification. Besides this, my interests include Contemporary Galician Studies, the rise of Folklore and Anthropology in Spain, France and Germany during the late XIX century, the role of the Spanish University during Franco's dictatorship, politics, philosophy of mind and the reflexive sociology of Pierre Bourdieu.
