The Spanish Program offers a Master of Arts in Spanish. Qualified graduate students admitted into the Spanish program may apply for a departmental Teaching Assistantship in Spanish or Portuguese. Download the Teaching Assistanceship Application Form (Word). The deadline for the first round of consideration for a teaching assistantship in Spanish is February 1. Applications will be accepted after that date, on a rolling basis, until positions have been assigned. Recipients teach between one and two courses per semester and receive a stipend plus full tuition remission. Summer Teaching Assistantships are available on a limited basis and are not guaranteed.
