Important Dates:
Feb 25th - Abstract deadline
Apr 8th - Paper deadline
Apr 15th - Biography Deadline
May 7th - The Forum!
Abstract Information:
Your abstract will not be published but is simply used by the Forum Committee to match up similar presentations in the panels.
Your abstract should therefore include the following:
The title of your presentation
Your full name
Your academic status - (MS Student, PhD Student, or Alum)
100-200 word summary
Paper Information:
While there are no guidelines for the paper you should keep in mind that every paper submitted for the forum is considered for the Scott Greer Award for Outstanding Research in Urban Studies.
Biography Information:
This is simply to aid the moderator in introducing you to the panel before you present. It should therefore be a short paragraph providing your key biographical information.
Presentation Information:
Presentations are normally about 20 minutes in length with 2 or 3 presenters in each panel. The panel's moderator will introduce each presenter prior to their presentation. Generally there will be periods for questioning after each presentation and again after all presentations have been completed. Any equipment you may need for audio/visual presentations can be provided.
