Call for Nominations for UWM Urban Studies Scott Greer Awards
The Urban Studies Programs Scott Greer Awards recognize the achievements of alumni of Urban Studies and its predecessor programs in Urban Affairs (M.S.) and Urban Social Institutions (Ph.D.). The sixteenth annual Awards will be presented at the Urban Studies Student Forum on April 27, 2013. The names of award recipients will be engraved on plaques displayed in Urban Studies offices and recipients will receive a personal plaque at a ceremony that takes place in conjunction with the keynote address.
From those nominated for a Scott Greer Award, the awards committee will select winners for two awards.
The Scott Greer Award for Postgraduate Achievement in Advancing Understanding of Urban Social Institutions is awarded to an alumnus whose postgraduate publication, teaching or professional activities have advanced our understanding of urban social institutions, their history, interrelationships, consequences, and change.
