SERIES #1: ADMINISTRATION

Note: Prior to the establishment of the Central Office, records were the responsibility of elected officers (secretary, treasurer, etc.) (See shelf list for Part I). Part II begins with the Secretary's letterbook, 1944-1948. A Central Business Office was authorized in 1950, locating permanently in Washington, D.C. in 1959. Although Central Office officials, functions, and titles changed at irregular intervals, the series is organized alphabetically, with some functional operations listed as subcategories (e.g., "Educational Affairs Director"). Note also, "Letterbooks" are restricted to correspondence sent.
