Libraries Receive Large Book Donation
Rudolph Martin Grebe, a scientist, computer engineer, and bibliophile who died on July 30 after a long illness, donated his large personal collection of over 2000 books to the UWM Libraries this past spring. More >

Argentine Artist at UWM
Argentine printmaker, painter, and book artist Mirta Kupferminc recently gave two lectures at the Library: "The Jewish Artist in Latin America" and "The Prints and Artist's Books of Mirta Kupferminc." More >

Fromkin Lecture Explores Television Blacklisting
Carol Stabile, Director of the Center for Study of Women in Society, University of Oregon, will present “Red Networks: Women Writers and the Broadcast Blacklist,” the 39th annual Morris Fromkin Memorial Lecture on October 2 at 4:30 p.m. in the fourth floor Conference Center of the Golda Meir Library. New Location and Name for Multimedia Library
The Multimedia Library has moved to the lower level west wing of the Golda Meir Library and combined with the Current Periodicals and Microforms department to create a new Media Library. More >

E-Journal Holdings Now Easier to Locate
UWM Libraries e-journal holdings are now available within Google Scholar (http://scholar.google.com). The UWM "Find It!" links appear in appropriate citations, providing links back to our e-article collections. More >

Fall Used Book Sale Sept. 22-24
The Friends of the Golda Meir Library will hold their fall used book sale Sept. 22-24. Over 6,000 items in a wide variety of genres—including contemporary fiction, foreign languages, history, literature, poetry, and aviation—will be offered. More >

Alumni Auction's Tour Winner
