The Life and Works of William Butler Yeats A traveling exhibition on loan through the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the National Library of Ireland. Its Milwaukee venue is co-sponsored by the UWM Center for Celtic Studies and the UWM Libraries. Supplemented with an exhibit of Yeats-related materials from Special Collections.

Illuminating the Issue: Artist Books as Social/Political Critique This exhibition highlights how artists of the book use their medium as a way to frame and comment on contemporary social and political issues, including contemporary American life, war and its consequences, politics and economics.

George Washington's Vision of America
Examples of many of the maps of America George Washington is known to have owned and consulted throughout his life, as well as other materials relating to Washington from the AGS Library.  A highlight is a 1775 map of North & South Carolina once the property of Washington himself.

Book Burning, 213 B.C.-2012 A.D A showcase of books that have been burned, from antiquity to present day. Included are texts from famous historical cases as well as contemporary incidents, photographs, and other information about book burning. Curated by UWM Libraries staff member John Hubbard, with a website companion.
