Photocopy, Scanning and Printing Information
The Media and Reserve Library houses equipment for photocopying or scanning print items and viewing, printing or scanning microforms.
Microform Equipment
- Digital microfilm and microfiche printers. Cost: $0.25 for 8 ½" x 11" or 11” x 17”
- Digital microfilm and microfiche scanners. Scanned documents can be burned to a CD or saved to a portable storage device. Patrons with UWM accounts can email documents via PantherMail or upload to PantherFile.
- Microfilm and microfiche viewers.
- Digital micro-opaque scanner. Microprint and microcard documents can be printed or burned to a CD.
- Portable microfiche viewer. The viewer can be checked out with a current UWM ID.
Photocopy & Scanning Equipment
- Combination black & white/color photocopier and scanner. The photocopier operates on coins and the UWM Copy/Print card. Cost: black & white $0.15 for 8 ½” x 11" or $0.30 for 11” x 17”; color $0.35 for 8 ½” x 11" or $.70 for 11” x 17”. Scanned documents can be emailed via PantherMail, uploaded to PantherFile, saved to a portable storage device or burned to a cd.
- Black & white photocopiers. One photocopier which operates on the UWM Copy/Print card and one photocopier which operates on the UWM Copy/Print card and coins. Cost: $0.15 for 8 ½” x 11” and $0.30 for 11” x 17”.
- Coin changer. The changer dispenses change for $1s, $5s, and $10s - First Floor, West Wing.
- Epson 12” x 17” flatbed color scanner. Scanned documents can be emailed via PantherMail, uploaded to PantherFile, saved to a portable storage device or burned to a cd .
