UWM Faculty/Staff Library Privileges
at Other Libraries
Milwaukee Area Libraries
Cooperative Access Program (CAP) faculty and staff at UWM have borrowing privileges at Marquette University and at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) libraries through CAP. Faculty wishing to borrow items from Marquette must present a current UWM ID to Marquette Circulation Desk staff. A voucher will be issued to obtain a borrowing card that can be purchased for $5 in Marquette's student union. If visiting MCW, simply present your current UWM ID to staff at those libraries to receive your borrowing card. Please see Circulation staff to obtain a brochure with complete information on this program or Cooperative Access Program. If you have further questions, please contact Circulation staff at (414) 229-4132 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
InfoPass - Over 100 libraries belong to the Library Council of Southeastern Wisconsin and participate in the InfoPass program. When an item is not owned by our library, an InfoPass allows the user to go to any of the council libraries and check out up to three items with the pass and your UWM ID. There is no limit to the number of passes a user may obtain in a year though passes may only be issued one at a time. The passes are available from the UWM Libraries Ask a Librarian Desk and may be used by UWM faculty, staff and students. For more information, please contact the Ask a Librarian Desk at (414) 229-4659 or Ask a Librarian.
