Dissertation Express
Rapid Access to Dissertations
UWM faculty and students can buy low-cost copies of doctoral dissertations through Dissertation Express. This service provides an alternative to borrowing dissertations (usually on microfilm) that are needed for research through Interlibrary Loan.
With Dissertation Express you get your own copy of the dissertation, to keep and annotate as you wish. The service includes one of two choices:
Option One:
- Digitally printed, shrink-wrapped 8 1/2"x11" unbound copies
- $30.00 per dissertation, prepaid, cash or check. Payment must be exact amount.
- Delivery to the library via express carrier within 5 - 10 business days
Option Two:
- Electonic copy in PDF format
- $36.00 per dissertation, prepaid, cash or check. Payment must be exact amount.
- Delivery to your ILLiad account within 24 hours.
Dissertation Express orders can be placed and picked up in the Interlibrary Loan Office during office hours. (For those who prefer to borrow, the Library will continue to make dissertation copies available on loan from other institutions.)
