Rebecca Littman, UWM Music Librarian
Rebecca Littman has been the Music Librarian at the University of
Wisconsin, Milwaukee since 1998. She holds a BA in Music Literature from
the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Master of Librarianship
from the University of Washington. Rebecca has served on the Board, and
many other committees, of the Music Library Association and has been
webmaster to several regional chapters of MLA. She teaches a course in
Music Librarianship on a bi-annual basis for the UWM School of
Information Studies. Her interests in music range from performance
practice issues of Medieval vocal music to Baroque chamber music but
most recently has been focused on contemporary popular music, especially
the wide range of British pop bands.
