Exhibit Looks at Artful Mapping
An exhibition focusing on the decorative elements of both modern and historic maps is now on display in the American Geographical Society Library.
The show includes elaborate cartouches, bird's-eye views, pictorial maps, and maps made by artists.
"The Art in Cartography/Cartography in Art" runs from February 12 to April 12, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. The AGS Library is located on the 3rd floor east wing of the UWM Golda Meir Library building.
