The UWM Libraries have acquired storage space at the UWM University Services Building (located 1½ miles from campus), and have begun transferring rarely used materials and duplicate resources from the Golda Meir Library’s West Wing second floor to the facility. The Libraries’ Technical Services and Business Office, now sited on the first floor, will then move to the second floor, creating more room for the new Learning Commons.
Materials being moved to USB include indexes and serials volumes which are also held by the Libraries electronically, and books with the call letters Q and R published before 1980 which have never been checked out or have been checked out only once.
