Segment Description: The Milwaukee Newsreel Program. Footage of Marquette University's winter commencement.  Graduates include a new Marine lieutenant, a man with a wife and six kids, and a husband and wife with a small daughter.  Father Raphael McCarthy was the speaker and is seen with Father O'Donnell.  See script for a list of names.

Segment Description: The Milwaukee Newsreel Program. Marquette University NROTC student Clayton Reitmeyer prepared for graduation with his mother and fiancée Phyliss Cotter.  Donald Eckhardt got help from his mom and fiancée Coralie Kugler.  Siblings Joseph, Norene, and Robert O'Connors helped each other prepare for the graduation ceremony.

Segment Description: The Milwaukee Newsreel Program. Marquette University gave honorary degrees to Bishop David Hickey, Sister Mary Mercy, Charles Coughlin and Victor McCormack.  Father Edward Drummond and University President Father Edward O'Donnell are seen with the group.

Segment Description: The Milwaukee Newsreel Program. Federal Judge Harold Medina and his wife arrive in Milwaukee.  Medina was met by Marquette Law School Dean Reynolds Seitz and was given an honorary degree at Marquette's commencement ceremony.

Segment Description: Daily Footage. Footage of Marquette University's winter graduation reception. The footage includes students, professors, and parents drinking punch, mingling, and laughing. The reception is being held in the Brooks Memorial Union Ballroom.
