The murals inside Marquette University's Brooks Memorial Union were dedicated.  They were commissioned by Gimbel's.  Bruce Gimbel and Charles Zadok viewed the main lobby mural.  Art expert James Johnson Sweeny and Father Edward O'Donnell also participated.

Segment Description: Special Assignment.  C. Frederick Wehr, also known as Todd Wehr, returned to Milwaukee to donate 2.25 million dollars to Marquette University.  Wehr and University President Father William F. Kelley talk about the buildings that will be built with the money.

Segment Description: Daily Footage. A celebration is held at the Pfister Hotel to honor Marquette University's new president, Father John P. Raynor. The event is the inaugural civic reception for Raynor. People dine and visit with each other in the crowded ballroom. O'Donnell does not agree with those who are not optimistic about the future because of the problems in the world and in Milwaukee.

Segment Description: Daily Footage. Father John Raynor speaks at the opening of Marquette University's $30 million fund drive. He talks about Marquette's responsibilities and new resources. An unidentified man talks Father Raynor for the opportunity to be the general chairman of the advance program. Raynor says the measure of a school is its academic performance. He talks about how the advance program will provide for expansion, construction, and academic improvements.
