recent decision to proceed with the building of an Olympic size skating facility on the State Fair
grounds.

Segment Description: Daily Footage. A ribbon cutting ceremony and dedication is held for
the new Olympic speed skating rink. The rink is located at State Fair Park at the northwest
corner of the park just south of the East-West freeway on S. 84th St. in West Allis. After the
dedication, people skate for free. The rink cost $582,000 to construct.

Segment Description: Daily Footage. Mr. Krum says the new skating rink in West Allis is
in an ideal spot because it is centrally located both in the state and in the United States for
speed skaters. The area was formerly a refuse pond. Krum also discusses the details of the new
rink which is the first 400 meter official international rink in the United States of its kind.
