Segment Description: The Milwaukee Newsreel Program. 40,000 people toured the Washington Park Zoo on its opening day for 1951.  Mayor Zeidler, Lawrence Timmerman, and WA Roberts spoke.  Chimps and ponies performed.  Shorty the lion was seen while gorillas, Samson and Sambo, played with their nurse Edith Scott.  See script for more names.
