The bank has reconstructed a full block of store fronts, including the Farmers' & Millers' Bank of 1853, its predecessor. Segment Description: Daily Footage. Frank Zeidler, head of the State Department of Resource Development, says Wisconsin must make a greater effort to develop its research capabilities. The state must establish and encourage public and private research institutes if it wants to stay competitive. Zeidler also says southeast Wisconsin is sharing in the general surge in national prosperity but other parts of the state are in decline. He says greater research capabilities are needed in northern Wisconsin to utilize the natural resources of the are in new ways.
