This tutorial covers how to use the ERIC database to identify articles and documents in Education, Educational Psychology, and related fields.

After completing this tutorial you should be able to:

  • distinguish between citations to ERIC Journals (EJs) and ERIC Documents (EDs)
  • define peer review
  • search the ERIC database with ERIC descriptors (thesaurus terms)
  • search the ERIC database with keywords (and, or, not)
  • use the FindIt button to find an article or a document
