Introduction to Library Research on the Internet

This session will provide an introductory look at locating research materials on the World Wide Web.
This session will include a hands-on component.

This workshop will take place in room E159 in the east wing of the Library.


What is the Internet? The Internet is a collection of computers all over the world, connected electronically by telecommunications lines in order to share and exchange information.
What is the World Wide Web? The World Wide Web is the part of the internet that uses hypertext links for navigation: it includes text, graphics, video and sound.
