Did you know? K-12 public & private teachers from Milwaukee and suburban communities are eligible for a FREE special permit card from the UWM Libraries? While some restrictions apply, it can be used for most parts of the Libraries. For more information see "Milwaukee Area School Teachers" at http://www.uwm.edu/Libraries/Circ/sec2.html

Faculty! If there are resources you want to order and have ready for the fall semester please let us know A.S.A.P. I will forward orders for items that belong to the regular collection to the appropriate department, and submit orders that will stay in Curriculum Library immediately.

It is not too early to schedule tours of the Curriculum Library and our resources for fall! We welcome classes to visit, or hold class sessions occasionally in the Curriculum Library.
It is also a great time to schedule a course-integrated library session. These sessions can cover basic library research such as using the online catalog and databases to more subject specific topics. Sessions are scheduled through the Libraries Research and Instructional department (formerly Reference). There are two library classrooms equipped with computers (for students) and a computer projector (for librarian instructor). Space fills up FAST - especially dates from September to November. For more information:

K-12 visits to the Curriculum Library or to sessions such as above may also be scheduled. For Curriculum Library visits, e-mail libcurriculum@uwm.edu
