Teachers from public or private elementary, middle, and high schools in Milwaukee and other school districts are eligible for a library "special permit" card. This card allows borrowing privileges for the UWM Libraries, subject to certain limitations, from July 1 to June 30. A teacher needs to present a valid ID and a letter from the school administration verifying employment. The card may be renewed with a new letter from the school. Please inquire at the main circulation desk, (414) 229- 4132, on the first floor.
