To search for information relating to nonprofit accounting, use "accounting AND nonprofit" as a keyword search. Change keywords to get additional results, for instance, use not-for-profit or charitable in place of nonprofit. Connect keywords together using AND; the system will search for records with all keywords present.

Obtaining Items Not Held by UWM Libraries

There are several options available for obtaining material that is not held by the UWM Libraries. Through Interlibrary Loan and UW-System Borrowing, the library is able to obtain almost any article or book requested. It is important to remember that this will not happen overnight. UW-System Borrowing (available for books only, not journal articles) takes 3-5 business days and Interlibrary Loan (available for books or journals not owned by UWM Libraries) times vary based on distance and response time. For more information, ask a librarian for assistance in the InterLibrary Loan office, at the Information Desk, calling (414) 229-4659, or using the Ask a Librarian service available through the libraries homepage. Check possibilities in the RIS Library Guide Obtaining Items Not Owned by the UWM Libraries.
