Statistical Abstract of the U.S. (REF) HA 202 http://www.census.gov/compendia/statab/	This standard summary of social, political, and economic statistics for the U.S. has been published since 1878. It contains data from over 200 government and private agencies on topics from baseball game attendance to consumer debt. The subject index is good and the tables include the sources from which the statistics were derived.
American Statistics Index (MFC) HA 214 .A5x LexisNexis Statistical	The ASI is an index to statistical publications of the federal government; UWM Libraries has the print for retrospective 1973-1997. The full text of material found in ASI is available on microfiche in the Media Library, Lower Level, west wing; for materials available from 1970-2001. Current statistical materials will be found via LexisNexis Statistical.
Data.gov http://www.data.gov/	A new governmental website, Data.gov, claims to have "the potential to be the most useful source of data anywhere on a wide range of subjects".
World Almanac & Book of Facts (REF) AY 67 .N5 W7	Almanacs are often overlooked sources of statistics on a wide variety of subjects and are easy to use.
