The Reference Collection of the Golda Meir Library has many electronic indexes. The following are just a few of the electronic indexes available. Indexes are also available remotely to UWM users with campus computer (alpha) accounts.

GOLDA MEIR LIBRARY'S COLLECTION
The Library's collection of CD-ROM's embraces many diverse disciplines. Because of this, titles can be located under a multitude of subject headings in the library's online catalog. CD-ROM titles are located in a variety of other libraries and departments, including RIS, the Curriculum Library, Special Collections and the American Geographical Society Library.
Here are some suggestions for locating a CD-ROM title in the online catalog:

CD-ROMS:

1) Click on the Set Limits button.
2) Scroll down the page to the Search Limits list.
3) In the Location limit, scroll down to Multimedia Library - CD-ROM Collection and click on it.
4) Click on Apply Limits.     NOTE: Limits only work in Keyword, Title, and Advanced Searches.
5) Click on the Search type in the Search by box.

SEARCH TYPES
Keyword (Ranked by Relevance)Searches for any keyword(s). Put quotation marks around keywords that should be searched as a phrase.
Keyword (and, or, not)Searches for any keyword(s) using the words and, or, or not.
Title Searches for items using the EXACT title.
Author Searches for items using the EXACT author name (lastname space firstname).
Call # Searches for items using the EXACT call number.
Subject
 
Searches for items using the EXACT **subject heading.
  **Consult the Library of Congress Subject Headings available in the RIS Area.
