If the UWM Libraries do not hold
a material these resources will help you to obtain it from another library.
Items that are held by the library, but are on reserve or are checked out,
may not be requested through Interlibrary Loan.
UW
System Borrowing
University of Wisconsin System Borrowing allows library users with a valid UWM ID to request,
borrow, and return materials from any participating library within the
UW System. These requests usually take 3-5 business days. Users may request
these materials online and pick them up at the Circulation Desk. Instructions

students and faculty have access to any UW System library. Use your UWM ID card to gain entrance and check
out materials from any UW System library.

Loan
When obtaining articles and materials not available through UW System
Borrowing, make your requests through
ILLiad.
Graduate students may request articles using the Rush Request Service to

Search to find materials held in libraries across North America and beyond
If we do not hold the item, and it is not available through UW
System borrowing, you may make ILL requests through Woldcat.(WorldCat may not be used to request articles).

InfoPass
If a material is not held by UW-Milwaukee Libraries, but is available
at another local library, you may be able to check out the material from
that library using an Infopass. Stop by the Information Desk in the Golda
Meir Library to see if an InfoPass may be issued for the item you need.
Please be sure to bring your valid UWM ID card.
